High-bay ASRS structure, set by crane
1,850Tons of steel set
14Weeks on site
0Lost-time incidents

The challenge

A 110-foot high-bay automated storage structure with tight rail and column tolerances for the stacker cranes. Most of the steel had to be erected before the building envelope was closed, and the handover date to the automation supplier was fixed.

Our approach

We planned every crane pick and boom lift in advance, set survey control for rail and column tolerances, and ran two shifts with a dedicated supervisor on each. Daily coordination meetings with the equipment maker kept our sequence matched to their install plan.

The result

The structure was handed over on the agreed date with survey results inside tolerance and no recordable incidents across more than 60,000 work hours.

Three-level pick module for a fulfillment center

9Days ahead of go-live

The challenge

A three-level pick module with carton flow, walkways and stairs, built inside a new building while the general contractor and other trades were still working on site.

Our approach

We issued layout drawings for permit, sequenced the work with the GC around other trades, staged deliveries by level, and inspected each level before decking went down.

The result

The module was approved for occupancy and ready for conveyor integration nine days ahead of the go-live schedule.

Live-facility reconfiguration with custom protection
640Bays reconfigured
0Hours of lost shipping
320Custom guards fabricated

The challenge

Rack had to be reconfigured in a running warehouse without closing a single dock, and forklifts were damaging uprights at the aisle ends and columns.

Our approach

We phased the work across nights and weekends, barricaded every work zone, measured and fabricated column and end-of-aisle guards in our own shop, and re-leveled every bay before releasing it back to operations.

The result

The facility kept shipping throughout the project, upright damage reports dropped sharply, and every bay was inspected and handed back with documentation.
